You need

  • 1/4 cup of Witch Hazel or Vodca*
  • 15 – 25 drops of essential oils of your choice**
  • Distil water to fill the rest of bottle
  • A 250ml dark glass bottle with spray fitting

How to make it

  • Mix everything in a dark glass spray bottle
  • Shake before use

Energising: Citrus Fresh, Grapefruit, Basil, Rosemary, Peppermint
Deodorising: Purification, Rosemary, Mint, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Oregano

*Witch Hazel is expensive (60% of the cost in this recipe). The reason you are using it is for this high ethanol (alcohol) level of 70%. It sterilises and helps with evaporation. So if you are on a tight budget you can consider using Voda which is usually about 30%.
